First String builds college athletes the professional layer that brands say yes to — a full brand audit, a sponsor-ready media kit, and warm introductions to the right people. Your deals stay 100% yours.
Every member receives the same infrastructure the pros have — researched, written, and designed from your real stats, your analytics, and your story. Nothing generic, nothing recycled.
A professional written analysis of exactly where your name stands — and what it could be worth.
The sponsor-facing package — the document a brand can say yes to in five minutes.
A season-long plan — and doors opened. You take the call and keep every dollar.
The unglamorous part that keeps your season safe — built into everything we make.
“You were selected because your name is worth building. The interview decides the rest.”

We scout rosters and reach out to athletes directly — or review your interview request below. Selection starts the conversation; it doesn't end it.
We walk you through everything and learn your goals. Fit matters more than follower count. Parents and coaches welcome.
On a mutual yes: a guided intake and signed authorization. Your stats, your photos, your goals — nothing happens without your consent.
Your audit and media kit ship in weeks, timed to your season — and then we work the plan together.
Commission agencies chase their biggest names — smaller clients get a template and silence. Platforms sell you a login and wish you luck.
First String works differently. We put a dedicated team on one athlete at a time — you — spending real hours on your brand before a single deal exists.
We connect you with the right person at the brand. You take the call, you make the deal, and every dollar you sign stays with you.
First String was founded by Jack Greenberg, who has started collegiate companies before and worked at Opendorse — the leader in the NIL space.
Working inside the NIL industry, Jack watched talented athletes leave real money on the table — not because brands weren't interested, but because nobody had ever packaged their name professionally. The athletes landing deals weren't always the best on the field; they were the ones who looked like professional partners when a sponsor checked them out.
First String exists to close that gap for a small, hand-picked roster: build each athlete the professional layer the pros have, open the right doors, and never touch a dollar of their deals.
Every application below lands in my inbox, and I read all of them. — Jack
No. First String is a branding and marketing agency. We build your brand assets and make introductions — we do not negotiate contracts, accept agreements on your behalf, or take any percentage of your deals. You (and your family or advisors) handle every deal directly.
We walk you through exactly what we build, show you what the finished audit and media kit look like, learn your goals and your season, and explain everything about how membership works. No pressure and no obligation; it's as much about whether we're right for you as the reverse.
Protecting eligibility is designed into everything we build. Your kit includes school and NCAA policy checklists and FTC disclosure guidance, and we encourage every member to loop in their school's compliance office. We never advise you to hide anything.
Yes. We're incredibly selective about who we bring on. Most of our roster comes from athletes we scout and reach out to directly. You can also request an interview below — every request is read personally, but a request doesn't guarantee an interview. Selection gets you the conversation; the interview decides membership.
Please bring them. We'd rather explain everything to the whole table on day one — it's your name, and the people who look out for you should hear exactly how this works.
Most of our roster is scouted directly — but if you believe your name belongs here, make your case. Every request is read personally. We're incredibly selective, so a request doesn't guarantee an interview.
Parents and coaches are welcome at every step.
